Partnerships & Associations

AuthenTechnologies® has forged valuable collaborations with some of the nation’s top academic and research organizations, and has developed The Center for Herbal Identity, the first University-Industry partnership dedicated to advancing the science of herbal identity with the University of California, Berkeley.  Other major herbaria that AuthenTechnologies® has partnered with include: The New York Botanical Garden, The National Arboretum, The Missouri Botanical Garden, The Harvard University Herbaria, the University of California Davis Herbarium, and others.

AuthenTechnologies® is the recipient of a number of contracts and  grants from federal government agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NIH-NCCAM), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the USDA Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

The American Botanical Council is a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to providing accurate and reliable information for consumers, healthcare practitioners, researchers, educators, industry and the media.

The Center for Herbal Identity (CHI)

The Center for Herbal Identity (CHI) is the first University-Industry partnership of its kind dedicated to advancing the science of herbal identification. CHI was established between the University of California, Berkeley’s University and Jepson Herbaria and AuthenTechnologies.
